Gladbeck, August 3, 2026. West Beach Dynamics GmbH, a specialized implementation partner for medium-sized manufacturing companies using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, is acquiring the Bay-2 business division from Bay-Soft GmbH. Bay-2 will seamlessly complement WBD’s existing product portfolio, which is specifically tailored to the requirements of medium-sized manufacturing companies.
Bay-2 Functionality
Bay-2 supports the entire product lifecycle of electronic components — from product introduction and market availability through to discontinuation. An integrated risk management system identifies critical developments relating to individual components at an early stage, such as potential supply shortages or components reaching end-of-life status.
In addition, a cross-marketplace best-price search allows users to compare component prices across different procurement sources, supporting more cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Modernization: Browser-Based with Integrated AI
Even before the acquisition, Bay-2 underwent a comprehensive modernization in collaboration with West Beach Dynamics. Users now benefit from a fully browser-based interface that enables location- and device-independent access.
West Beach Dynamics is also integrating comprehensive AI support directly into the application to assist users with recurring tasks and significantly accelerate business processes.
Still Open to All ERP Systems — with Deeper Integration for Business Central
As before, Bay-2 will continue to be offered under West Beach Dynamics as a specialized solution compatible with all common ERP systems, ensuring accessibility to a broad range of customers.
For users of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the solution provides additional value through full integration into the familiar Business Central environment, allowing it to fit seamlessly into existing system landscapes.
